Commentary:
You have to admire a woman like Alice. She answers questions on everything from low-protein diets to heroin use to the adverse effects of tattoo ink. Readers can submit questions on all sorts of health-related topics.

Alice (really the Columbia University Health Education Program staff) does an excellent job of providing accurate responses to nutrition and fitness questions in an engaging manner. Nutrition topics include sweet cravings, carotenoids, non-meat protein sources, and dietary supplements, to name just a few. The content is limited by the Q&A format, but is great if you need an answer to a specific question. And Alice always encourages her readers to see a health care professional if they need more information than she can give them online.
