Commentary:
Click here for good stuff! This site provides access to hundreds of educational materials. The "Health" and "Food" sections index handouts, brochures, factsheets and reprints, published and reviewed by government agencies, which may be ordered for free or at very low cost. Each entry on the list may be viewed before ordering.

"Food" includes literature on fiber, food preservatives, eating to lower blood pressure, nutrition concerns of aging, and food safety. "Health" provides information on fitness, medications and selected medical problems, with lots of nutrition info woven in. Several entries (in both sections) are from FDA Consumer; subscription information is available online. The greatest benefit of this site is the access it provides to highly accurate consumer information. It would be a perfect 25 but for the fact that a substantial amount of the information is dated - ie, more than three years old.
